Dayang Bay

DAYANG BAY MY FAVOURITE DIVE SITE IN DAYANG

I simply love dayang bay for dawn/night dives. There is lots of marine life. I have seen huge Pleurobranch, schools and schools of fishes, octopus, sting rays, huge stone fishes, pufferfish, etc. I once saw a sea cucumber rolling down the sea bed slope. It was damn funny.
There is always a slight current at DB which is good as it can bring u through dayang bay without much finning.
Also after u reach the jetty, you can swim under and through the jetty, there is lots of angel fishes and so on.
My first encounter with an octopus is at dayang bay, which is why it is so memorable. The creature was hiding in the corals and we had to wait and wait before the head pops out and went back to the hiding again.

Just a precaution, as it is very near the jetty, it can be quite dangerous at night when diving as there are lots of boats moving in and out.
